Rachel Willis is the executive director of Kids Voting USA and the education director for the Kansas Press Association. She graduated summa cum laude from Washburn University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
She began working for the Kansas Press Association in 2007 as the education director and the executive director of Kids Voting Kansas (KVK). During the 2008 Presidential Election, KVK welcomed 11 new community participants and had a record-breaking student voter turnout.
In April 2009, the Kansas Press Association successfully won the management bid for Kids Voting USA and Rachel became the executive director. More than 670,000 students from across the country participated in the 2010 Mid-Term Elections.
Rachel and her husband, Steve, enjoy traveling, volunteering and spending time with friends and family.
