The affordable Kansas Display Ad Network offers coverage in Kansas newspapers using small-space display advertising. This program is the perfect way to blanket the state with your message at a low cost.
Rates
$800 for one insertion of a two-column x two-inch ad. $1,650 for one insertion of a two-column x four-inch ad. Checks, Visa, Mastercard and American Express are accepted. Pre-payment is required prior to all KDAN placements.
Deadline
The ad and payment must be received by 5 p.m. Tuesday prior to the week you want the ad to run in the newspapers.
Run dates
The ad will run in the participating nondaily newspapers on the day they publish. It will run in the participating dailies one day during the week, which is selected by the newspaper.
Tearsheets
One random tearsheet or an affidavit of distribution can be sent to the advertiser upon request.
Placement in other states
KPA can place your 2x2 or 2x4 ad in other state networks at the rates set by each individual press association.
Restrictions
Ads must adhere to standard advertising regulations (disclaimers, copyrights, etc.). Kansas Press and the participating newspapers reserve the right to reject and/or edit any ad. KPA does not accept ads that contain: 1-900 numbers, 1-800 numbers that refer callers to a 1-900 number, or ads that request money for product information or samples.
Ad design
Kansas Press can provide professional design of your KDAN ad at no additional charge. Please allow one extra day for production time.
Ad sizes
If creating your own ads for the KDAN network, please design your ads to meet the following size specifications. Newspapers typically adhere to either SAU or PASS column sizes.
2x2 ads:
3.79" wide x 2" tall
2x4 ads:
3.79" wide x 4" tall
Alternative ad sizes:
KPA also accepts one-column x 4-inch ads ($800) and one-column x 8-inch ads ($1,650) for its KDAN network.
