Scott City boys and girls sweep team races at Goodland Invitational
Goodland, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–The cross country season is officially underway, as several schools made their way to the annual Goodland Invitational on Thursday.
Both the boys and girls races would come down to Scott City and Norton for the team title.
On the boys side, Scott City would edge the Bluejays by 15 points, while Oakley was third. The Beavers saw Michael Hermosillo take the meet title, while Cimarron’s Asher English was third.
For the girls, Scott City would edge Norton by five points. Belle Trout placed third, and Cimarron’s Jyntri Wilson was seventh.
