Governor Kelly Announces Administration Appointments
TOPEKA – Governor Laura Kelly announced on Friday 11 appointments to the following state council and commissions.
Kansas Council on Developmental Disabilities
Purpose: To advocate for systematic change to increase productivity, independence, integration, and inclusion of people with developmental disabilities in Kansas communities.

- Perri Spencer, Peabody
- Nancy Goodman, Scott City
- Amy Schmierbach, Hays
Kansas Commission on Deaf and Hard of Hearing
Purpose: To advocate for and facilitate equal access to quality, coordinated, and comprehensive services that enhance the quality of life for Kansans who are deaf and/or hard of hearing.

Kansas African American Affairs Commission
Purpose: To address the public policy concerns of the African American community through its partnerships with state agencies, corporations, and foundations, and to serve as a conduit for programs, grants, research, and policy.
