Garden City woman arrested in stabbing incident

Garden City, Kan.–Garden City Police arrested a woman in connection to a stabbing on Friday.

Around noon on Friday, first responders were dispatched to the 1700 block of N. Main Street following reports of a stabbing. After arriving, they found a victim with a stab wound and took 43-year-old Stephanie Snowder into custody without incident. The investigation determined that Snowder and the victim had been arguing when Snowder allegedly grabbed a knife and stabbed the victim in the leg.

The victim was transported by Finney County EMS to the hospital for treatment.

Snowder was lodged in the Finney County Jail for Aggravated Battery.
