Riley County's lobbyist says 2026 session's pace may stall prioritized bills

Riley County’s legislative lobbyist provided a preview Thursday of the 2026 legislative session, which he said will move fast and be dominated by election-year politics.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
