83rd Annual Tournament of Champions Bracket Released

Eight teams will make their way to United Wireless Arena from Jan. 22 through the 24th for Tournament of Champions. All 12 games will be broadcasted live on Z98 thanks to sponsors Sutherlands, First Dental and Village Square Mall.

The hosts Dodge City will play their first round game at 7 p.m. against Maize on Thursday’s opening night, with the winner taking on the winner of Manhattan and Olathe East. Undefeated Shawnee Mission South will take on Newton at 3:30 with the winner taking on the winner of the tournament’s opening game between Wichita East and Andover.

Tournament of Champions is the longest running high school invitational boys’ basketball tournament west of the Mississippi River. The festivities extend to the FCA Breakfast, which will be held on Saturday morning at 8:30am at Dodge City High School. This year’s speaker is former Kansas University athlete – Ryan Schadler. Tickets will be available at the door – the morning of the event.
