Area residents gathered for ”No Kings 3.0” on March 28, an event hosted by the “Harvey County Resistance Lab,” a grassroots organization aiming to foster civic engagement and cross-partisan dialogue on local, state, and national issues.

More than 300 people gathered on the courthouse lawn for the event.

The group has held previous meetings at the Newton Public Library, but with the library’s busy schedule, organizers are now seeking a more permanent location. Their preference is to meet on the third Monday of each month, providing a consistent schedule for members and the public.

The Harvey County Resistence Lab communicates using a Facebook Group located at https://www.facebook.com/groups/harveycountyresistancelab.
