Garden City Police give update on bomb threat at Garden City High School
Garden City, Kan.–Just before 3:30 p.m. Tuesday Garden City High School received a phone call reporting a bomb threat. School resource officers along with other responding officers from the Garden City Police Department and Finney County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the immediate evacuation of students and staff. Bomb detection dogs from the Kansas Highway Patrol later assisted in clearing the school. No threats were found. The school and immediate area around the school were locked down until 9:00 p.m.
