Sen. Moran Now Accepting 2026 Service Academy Applications

Applications are now being accepted for students interested in applying to a United States Service Academy for the Class of 2031.

According to U.S. Senator Jerry Moran, one of his favorite duties is appointing Kansans to the U.S. Military Academy in West Point in New York, U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD, U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, NY.

For the list of requirements and to apply, visit Sen. Moran’s website. Applications are due by September 18, 2026. 

After applications have been reviewed, applicants will be notified of interviews with the Service Academy Selection Board.
