Lawmakers push for mandatory aviation tech after rise in ‘close calls’

Sen. Jerry Moran and other members of the commerce subcommittee on aviation, space and innovation called for safer airways Tuesday by demanding the implementation of mandatory safety systems in all aircraft and improving personnel training.
