Adding one ‘s’ to ‘Douglas’ County would honor Kansas’ abolitionist legacy, a new zine says
Two local poets have written a zine advocating for Douglas County to be renamed for abolitionist Frederick Douglass. They’re hosting a launch event and open mic night to share the publication.
