Fireworks Banned on School Property, District Closed July 3rd
Garden City Public Schools would like to remind residents that it is a violation of school district policy to possess or ignite fireworks on any school property. If you plan to celebrate Independence Day by setting off fireworks, know the dangers and take every safety precaution. The district encourages you to check local ordinances for other limitations on the use of fireworks in the community.
The offices and facilities will be closed on Friday, July 3rd, in observance of the Independence Day holiday. The school district will resume regular business hours on Monday, July 6, 2026.
