More than a workout group, Dog Days has built active community in Lawrence for 42 years
Around 100 people regularly brave the summer heat and push themselves to their limits in hopes of getting their hands on coveted "Dog Days" T-shirts. Don "Red Dog" Gardner has led the community workouts for more than four decades.
