GCHS Driver Education Enrollment Set

Enrollment for the fall session of the Driver Education course at Garden City High School will take place Thursday, August 27, at 3:30 p.m. in the Freshman Academy.  This course is available to Garden City High School students who are 14 years of age or older.

There will be a limited number of students who will be accepted into the class, and there will be no early sign-ups.  A lottery will be held for the class.  Students will need to bring their iPad for registration. 

The class will start on Monday, August 31.  The sessions will complete the classroom portion of the class, followed by the driving session.  All classwork will be completed by September 11, 2026. The driving portion will be scheduled after the classroom instruction session.

The fee for the class is $200.00 and must be paid in full at the time of enrollment. Checks will need to be made out to USD 457. Cash or money orders will also be accepted. Credit/Debit cards and Tap to Pay options are not accepted at sign-up.
