Underground waterline work to begin on Dodge City street
Dodge City, Kan.–The City of Dodge City has announced via Facebook that a block of Ash Street will begin preparation of underground waterline work.
Starting Monday, Building Solutions will close Ash Street between 14th Avenue and 13th Avenue, including the intersection of Ash Street and 13th Avenue, as shown on the map below. During this time, construction will include the removal of existing asphalt pavement, underground waterline work, construction of new sidewalks, and placement of new concrete pavement. The closure is expected to last approximately nine weeks. Residents living along 13th Avenue between Ash Street and Division Street will need to access their residences from Division Street during the closure.
When traveling through the construction area, please use caution and be alert for construction equipment, loose or shifting soil, freshly placed concrete, fresh tar sealant, and other work-related hazards. Please follow all posted traffic control devices for your safety and the safety of construction crews.
