Dodge City man arrested in narcotics investigation
KBI agents, along with the Ford County Sheriff’s Office and Dodge City Police Department, conducted a search warrant today in Dodge City, Kansas, where one man was arrested.
Just before noon on Tuesday, KBI agents, sheriff’s deputies and police officers executed a search warrant at a residence in the 200 block of West La Mesa Drive, in Dodge City, related to an ongoing narcotics investigation.
Just before noon, 28-year-old Louis L. Ramey of Dodge City, was arrested for three counts of possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute, three counts of unlawful use of a communications facility to facilitate a drug transaction, and three counts of unlawful acts involving proceeds derived from violations of K.S.A. 21-5701 through 21-5717.
Following the arrest Ramey was booked into the Ford County Jail.
All suspects are presumed innocent, unless and until proven guilty in a court of law. The investigation is ongoing.
