Area schools ranked in first cross country rankings
The first round of cross country rankings were released this past weekend, and several area schools find themselves in the rankings.
Starting on the girls side, Ulysses is ranked eighth in Class 4A, while Lakin and Cimarron are seventh and ninth respectively in Class 3A. South Gray is No. 3 and Greeley County is No. 9 in Class 1A.
For the boys, Garden City enters at No. 7 in Class 6A. Class 3A has Holcomb at third, Scott City fourth and Lakin ninth. Stanton County is No. 8 in Class 2A, while Meade is second and Spearville is ranked seventh in Class 1A.
