Phase 2 of Shadow Lane Reconstruction Project to begin Tuesday
The City of Dodge City has announced the second phase of the Shadow Lane Reconstruction Project will be starting up soon.
Beginning Tuesday, October 27, Building Solutions will begin Phase 2 of the Shadow Lane Reconstruction Project. This phase is expected to take approximately four weeks to complete. Work will include the removal of the existing asphalt pavement, treatment of the subgrade, and placement of new concrete pavement. During construction, residents within the project area will temporarily lose access to their driveways. However, off-street parking will be available in the areas highlighted in blue on the map below. The City of Dodge City Sanitation Department will continue to provide curbside trash service on regularly scheduled collection days, and mail service will not be affected.
When traveling through or near the construction area, please use caution and be alert for construction equipment, loose or shifting soil, freshly placed concrete, fresh tar sealant, and other work-related hazards. Please follow all posted traffic control devices for your safety and the safety of construction crews.
If you observe an unsafe condition or another issue that requires attention, please contact Building Solutions at (620) 225-1199.
