Brian McCauley

Brian McCauley is managing editor of The Miami County Republic, where he oversees a newsroom covering Miami County, Kansas, including Paola, Louisburg, Osawatomie, Spring Hill and surrounding regions.

He has worked at the Republic since 2005, when he graduated with a journalism degree from the University of Missouri in Columbia.

Brian has served many roles at the paper, including reporter, editor and publisher, and he has a passion for community journalism.

When he's not on the job, Brian enjoys cheering on the Chiefs and Royals, playing basketball and tennis, watching movies and spending time with his wife, Katie, and their two children, Aubrey and Owen.
