KPA Day at Statehouse: We need a good showing

We're asking member newspapers of the Kansas Press Association to strongly consider attending KPA Day at the Statehouse on Thursday, Feb. 13 in Topeka.

We have a small group signed up, but it is imperative to our legislative agenda (public notice, open records and meetings) that we have a good showing. 

The day will include a visit with Gov. Laura Kelly and lunch with legislators. The event begins at 10 a.m. and will conclude by 1 p.m.

The event is free but registration is required.
