City of Garden City advises of temporary traffic control Monday at US 83/Spruce St intersection

Garden City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–The City of Garden City will have temporary changes to traffic on Monday.

Due to the East Side Pedestrian Project, temporary traffic control will be in place from Monday, May 11 through Tuesday, May 12 at the US Highway 83/50/400 and Spruce Street intersection. Highway traffic will be reduced to one lane northbound and one lane southbound. Left turns will still be allowed from the outside lanes. Spruce Street will also experience traffic restrictions to allow the project’s electrical contractor to make necessary adjustments to all four traffic signals. Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area and use alternate routes on Monday and Tuesday. If travel through the area is necessary, please use extreme caution.
