Class 4A: Hugoton’s Adigun wins triple jump; Ulysses girls 4×100 Relay 3rd

Wichita, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–It was a tough field in the Class 4A State Track & Field Championships at Cessna Stadium in Wichita on Friday and Saturday, as the school sports season came to an end.

Highlights from the area included sophomore Adrian Adigun winning the Triple Jump, and Gaige McGAughey from Ulysses placing second in the 100M Dash. Andale picked up another boys state title, with Buhler in second place and Wamego was third. Hugoton was eighth and Ulysses was 12th.

The Ulysses girls had a solid showing in the 4x100M Relay with a third place finish. Andale would win another girls state title, while Buhler was second and Baldwin was third. Ulysses tied for 15th and Hugoton was 31st.
