Lawrence City Commission to hold public hearings on proposed property tax increase, 2027 budget
Lawrence city commissioners will hold a public hearing Tuesday on the proposed 2027 budget, which includes a property tax rate increase of more than 2 mills. They'll also consider increasing stormwater rates.
