Ad Retrieval

KPA's online ad retrieval is designed for Kansas newspaper staff members to download ads that are scheduled — through KPA's ad placement service — to run in their newspaper.

How to download an ad

  1. Click here to go to the Display Ad Retrieval page of this site.
  2. A list of links to PDF files will appear on your screen.
  3. Click on the filename specified on your KPA insertion order to download the correct ad. After downloading, place the PDF file into your page layout program, or print the ad for paste-up. How you download the PDF ads from our site will depend on the Web browser you are using and how it is configured.
  4. To download the free Acrobat Reader software, which enables you to read PDF files, click here.

Here are some guidelines.

For Microsoft Internet Explorer PC users

The preferred method of downloading a PDF file with Internet Explorer for the PC is to select the file to be transferred by clicking the right mouse button. This will open a pop-up menu that lists "save target as" as an option. Selecting that option will open a download dialog box in which you may choose a destination folder. Once a destination folder has been selected, click on "save" to complete the procedure.

For Microsoft Internet Explorer Macintosh users

Click on the file link to download a copy of the document to your desktop. If you have the Acrobat Reader plug-in it will also open the document.
