Sign up for the KPA online ad network; kickoff soon
The Kansas Press Association has teamed with its counterpart in Missouri to offer KPA a new revenue stream and member newspapers a chance to enhance their online presence.
The KPA's new Online Ad Network, if all goes according to plan, will debut by Aug. 1, but possibly sooner. As of June 16, we have 14 KPA members signed up for the network. We need 40 or 50 to proceed.
The Missouri Press Association will handle the back end of the process, including working with staff members to place a code on the newspaper's website. After that is accomplished, network members won't have to do another thing.
Amber Jackson, KPA's advertising director, will lead the sales effort. Participating newspapers will share in the net proceeds KPA receives for the advertising.

"The quicker we get 40 or more newspapers to sign up, the sooner we can kick off the online network," Jackson said.
